Fashion Styling & Events Internship

Our company is looking for a fashion intern with styling skills to assist in planning and setting up our high-end retail client’s fashion showcases and contribute to curating fashion exhibitions.

DUTIES:

  • Styling Porsche Chester’s catwalk looks by selecting and arranging merchandise and clothing from their Porsche shop.
  • You have been assigned the task of choosing and styling outfits for our client’ Porsche shop. These outfits will be showcased on models walking down the runway at Cheshire Fashion Week SS24. The event is eagerly awaited and will be held at Chester Cathedral on the 14th of June and at Porsche Centre Chester on the 15th of June 2024.
  • You’ll present your curated clothing on models and collaborate with the team to showcase a high-end retailer’s collection on the catwalk.
  • You will assist in the set design and styling of the fashion exhibition.
  • You are required to create brief and imaginative video content where you discuss the project, meant for social media purposes.

ABOUT THE INTERNSHIP

As an intern, you will assist with daily tasks and gain knowledge about the fashion industry. You’ll work on three exciting projects, including creating stylish looks for our client Porsche Shop, making short videos for social media, and assisting with a fashion exhibition. You’ll work closely with Claire Namukolo Raven, the lead of Cheshire Fashion Week Ltd.

Flexible schedule with two specific shoot days already scheduled. Shifts based on demand: 2-5 hours per week/every two weeks. This is a temporary position starting on the 1st of March – the 16th of June 2024.

You’ll work from home and attend online meetings to provide project feedback, but you may need to travel for work occasionally.

You’ll travel occasionally to assist the Cheshire Fashion Week team with styling and capturing short video images during photo shoots. You’ll have weekly deadlines and conduct research on images and products leading up to the main event on June 14th and 15th, 2023. Your contributions will be valuable.

The position requires confidence, personability, creative expertise, and presentation skills to interact with models, produce short social media videos, and speak with clients.

Salary: Up to £9.00–9:50 per hour

Expected hours: 2 – 5 per week

Day shift except for the main event shift, which will be night shifts.
