Cheshire Fashion Week Expands to Manchester Cathedral for 2027
Cheshire Fashion Week® is officially expanding into Manchester, bringing a bold new chapter of Northern fashion, culture and creativity to the iconic Manchester Cathedral on 21 August 2027.
The move marks the next stage in the growth of the Cheshire-born fashion week and its wider Destination North vision connecting British and international fashion with some of the North’s most distinctive cultural destinations.
The 2027 showcase will bring designers, models, photographers and creative voices together beneath the historic architecture of Manchester Cathedral, with a focus on emerging talent, established brands and fashion with a distinctly Northern edge.
Manchester is a natural next destination for Cheshire Fashion Week. With its strong creative identity, independent spirit and international cultural influence, the city provides an exciting new home for the 2027 showcase while allowing CFW to remain firmly rooted in the North.
“Manchester has an incredible fashion and creative identity of its own, and that is exactly what makes this expansion exciting,” said Claire Namukolo Raven, Director of Cheshire Fashion Week. “Cheshire Fashion Week was born in Cheshire, but our ambition has always been bigger than one location. Destination North is about celebrating fashion, culture and creativity across the North.”
The Manchester Cathedral showcase will continue CFW’s mix of British and international designers, giving audiences the opportunity to discover new collections, different cultural influences and the creative talent shaping fashion beyond London.
Designer applications are now open for 2027, with further announcements, partnerships and participating brands to be revealed ahead of the event.
